SUMMER 2020 WEEKLY ZOOM YOGA CLASS Schedule with Sue Introducing a special priced monthly unlimited class package $45 per household, includes 2 weekly classes, with a library of recorded classes labeled by theme to watch on demand all month long. Also includes a special "members only" monthly pop up Acupressure Self Care class. Payment can be made to Sue via venmo, PayPal or check by mail. Sign up with Sue and she will send a Zoom link. CHAIR YOGA & MINDFUL MOVEMENT with Sue Tuesdays 9:30-10:30AM LIVE ZOOM CLASS Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga available to everyone. It’s done sitting comfortably in a chair or standing using a chair for support. Enjoy all the health benefits of a traditional yoga class without the challenge of getting up and down from the floor. While seated, practice breathing exercises and gentle poses that lengthen and strengthen the spine including twists, forward and back bends, hip stretches and more. Standing poses include balance, gentle stretching and mindful movement, encouraging the flow of healthy “chi” energy. A few acupressure points for self care taught in each class . Class ends with a guided relaxation to quiet the mind and calm the nervous system. Overall yoga benefits include increased balance, strength & flexibility, healthier breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep and sense of well-being. A great way to relax from head to toe. ACUPRESSURE SELF CARE with Sue Wednesday 9:30-10:30AM MONTHLY POP UP LIVE ZOOM CLASS An introduction to acupressure, a form of gentle touch therapy that utilizes the principles of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, addressing imbalances in the meridian pathways of the subtle energy body.which flows through connective tissues, bones and organs and helps keep our joints moist and organs healthy In acupressure. The same points on the body are used as in acupuncture, but are stimulated with gentle finger pressure instead of with the insertion of needles. Each month you will be guided through different sequences designed for seasonal wellbeing, immune system, general stress release and more. Can be done seated or lying down. Included in monthly unlimited class package.
RESTORATIVE YOGA: POSES, POINTS & PAUSES with SueFridays 9:30-10:30AM ZOOM CLASS This deeply relaxing yoga class invites the student to explore both mindful movement and stillness, integrating yin and restorative poses with a sprinkle of acupressure self care. Class is inspired by the five element teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine through deep exploration and balancing of the meridian and chakra subtle energy body which flows through connective tissues, bones and organs and helps keep our joints moist and organs healthy. Mostly a floor practice, set up conditions of calm to encourage a sense of receiving rather than doing a pose. Play with the use of props to encourage surrender and spaciousness in the body, mind and spirit. Crystal singing bowl meditation often completes the class. Gather all your favorite props (blocks, blankets, pillows, straps, yoga therapy balls). Free class through May, 2020. Included in monthly unlimited pass starting in June

Give yourself the gift of retreat in your own home. As we create conditions of calm through breathing, gentle movement and quiet long held restorative poses, the body and nervous system naturally respond. You will be guided to nurture and nourish yourself with supportive elements of self massage, acupressure self care, sound, poetry and visualization. End the evening with a guided crystal singing bowl meditation. Each Bliss night will have a different theme in tune with the rhythms of the season and common challenges. Gather your favorite props and create your own sacred space with pillows, blankets, blocks, bolster, straps, electric candles, aromatherapy, crystals, tea. PJS appropriate attire. Get creative. SEVA STRESS RELEASE with Sue Lovett Part 1 : For Self Care 9AM-12Noon Part 2: For Family & Friends 1-4PM Monthly on Saturday $60 for each part, $120 for full day SPRING/SUMMER/FALL 2020 DATES TBD This Soul Lightening International workshop teaches an acupressure protocol (The Seva Stress Release) that can be used for self-care, addressing a wide range of needs, including general relaxation and well being or extreme shock and stress. This dynamic and interactive workshop allows the participant to fully experience the Seva Stress release through demonstration and hands-on practice. Workshop participants learn a unique touch method, various effective acupoints and how to use this protocol for self care. In this workshop participants learn about the healing and transforming power of acupressure, practice techniques to use for self-care (Part 1) and practice with friends and family (Part 2).
No previous bodywork experience is required. Anyone can learn this simple but very effective way to help themselves regularly. Participants learn about the healing and transforming power of acupressure, locations of various effective acupoints and how to use this protocol for self care and care of others. This protocol was developed by Soul Lightening International Acupressure to support care givers at ground zero 9/11. A portion of the workshop fee is donated for program outreach support.

Reiki is an ancient, gentle Japanese healing art for stress reduction & relaxation that helps balance and replenish energy to promote healing and well-being on all levels.
During this 5 hour introduction course, with a primary focus on self healing, participants will be attuned or initiated by Sue Lovett, Reiki Master through a simple process that opens the recipient's energy field, to receive and utilize more of the Universal Life Energy also known as Prana, Chi, or KI. The attunement is permanent, making the recipient a Reiki practitioner for life. The attunements have in themselves a very powerful balancing and healing effect.
This class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. In addition to receiving a Reiki Level One attunement, students will learn more about the history of Reiki, the subtle energy body (chakras & meridians) and how to do Reiki on self or others. Participants will learn the hand positions for a full Reiki session and will have time to practice. Supporting activities of Meditation, chakra balancing and crystal bowl sound healing are included.
